Karen Williams - Known for her quick repartee, insightful commentary and audience rapport, Williams is a comic craft-master, a gifted actor, a multitalented writer, and an inspirational lecturer. Armed with her "healing with humor" philosophy, Karen is a modern-day alchemist whose audiences appreciate her cathartic laughter, and whose peers consider her a comic's comic!

d'bi.young - Self proclaimed as THE Jamaican Canadian dancehall queen punk rock warrior dub poet, d'bi young, has most recently been featured on bravo television's Playwrights and Screenwriters, HBO's Def Poetry Jam lll, BPM TV's Urban Groove, CBC's ZedTV, and Havana Cuba's Cuba Vision-Cuerda Viva with Paso Firme reggae band and Anonimo Consejo. She is the winner of the CBC Poetry Face-Off 2004 and will represent Toronto at the national championships.

LAL - LAL's music is the outcome of a deep and soulful collaboration between vocalist Rosina Kazi and her flat mate Nick Murray (a.k.a. "Murr"), whose carefully crafted beat, bass, and samples flow with his partner's sweet velvet voice in an impeccable harmony on each one of their tracks. LAL blends their subtle South Asian influences with Electronic and hip-hop sounds to create a whole new genre with a new and very unique sound.

Sabrina Jalees - Sabrina has taken the comedy world by storm... and is working on creating at least a heavy wind on the rest of the planet. Since she set foot on the Yuk Yuk's stage for the first time at 16, she has been the youngest stand-up ever added to their professional roster. Last year she broke Mike Meyer's record for being the youngest artist hired by Second City. Sabrina has performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, recorded a Comedy NOW special for CTV and has toured across North America. She had leading roles in CBC's Smart Ask and Toronto One's, The Toronto Show. She is currently studying Radio and Television at Ryerson University.

Martha Chaves - Martha is a Canadian comic, actor and writer of Nicaraguan origin. In The Globe and Mail, they call her "Smart, sassy, subversive, and very funny." Although, she has never published her poetry, Martha is a prolific writer in many fields. Her national TV special Something About Martha, which she starred and wrote, was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in the category of Pretty Funny Female in 2001. She has also been nominated four years in a row as Female stand-up of the year in the Canadian Comedy Awards. She has written for numerous TV shows, like Prime Tonight on Global and She Is So Funny on the Women's Television Network (WTN), and opened for such Latin luminaries as Gloria Estefan and Tito Puente
